Handwriting and more

There has been a lot of discussion around this form our parents at our Technology evening. Something some try hard to hang onto ..handwriting in class , their big worry????? Why? I wonder?

I wonder about the way we are teaching kids to write to. What are the texts like that we read most days ..full of media/ photos/video/hyperlinks.. is this the way our children should be effectively communicating?

Great Blog post... A little message in this that we want our ids to be able to be remembered for great things. We need to have great aspirations for them. Not let them think any learning barriers are what they will be remembered for.

Are we making an effort to disagree with our colleagues?

I think this is a brilliant clip.  IT's about constructive conflict. Openness alone cannot bring about change , we need conflict.  Conflict thinking , we need to get good at it and so do our students. If we are afraid of this things that should be questioned will just go on as always and beneficial change won't happen
